Courses

CSCY 4407

Security & Cryptography

Core security principles and modern cryptographic tools, protocols, applications and implementation considerations.

CSCY 4742

Cybersecurity Programming and Analysis

Programming techniques for security automation, data analysis, defensive tooling and evidence-based investigation.

Teaching philosophy

I connect foundational concepts to reproducible technical work. Students learn to interpret evidence, explain security decisions, communicate risk and recommend defensible mitigations—not simply operate tools.

Current students should use Canvas as the authoritative source for schedules, assignments, grades and course announcements.
